San Antonio, TX – President Barack Obama, under increasing pressure from growing opposition and shrinking poll numbers announced a major policy change. The president, while visiting San Antonio, TX, surprised the crowd of supporters with the news that he has approved the construction of the fence along the Mexico-American border. Amid shock and smatterings of boos, President Obama raised his hands in an effort to implore the people for a moment of explanation.
“Let me be clear, in these troubling times that I inherited from the previous administration, it is important to find common ground,” the president explained.
However, the biggest surprise of the day from the Chief Executive was not only that the fence was approved… but also completed. In a stunning turn of events, the president explained he, through executive order, circumvented Congress and has been working secretly since the early days of his administration to have the fence built. He boasted that his completed fence came in under the one trillion dollar budget and will cost the American taxpayer a mere $963,000,000,000. The president concluded his remarks, “I have finally provided the American people with the border security and protection that I have wanted for many decades.”
